The Federal Council of Germany agreed upon the controversial increase of the heavy goods vehicle road charge per January 1st, 2009.
Considering milage and structure of the heavy goods vehicles in use the average rates will be increased by 18,6 cent / km by January 1st 2009. Further tax charging for 2009 will be realized by adjusting the established Gebrüder Weiss templates.Vehicles are placed in the Categories A, B, C or D according to their emission category.
